Welcome all!
So lovely to have you here to celebrate the upcoming marriage of Lovelle and David! I am so excited to be hosting this virtual shower for Lovelle. And can I tell you a little secret? Lovelle and I haven't ever met in person (yet) but I know and love her mama Holley and when Lovelle became a part of Holley's family I think she also became a part of all of our lives as well.
Those of you that know and love Holley, know how she pours into others and when I heard about Lovelle getting engaged I wanted to do the same for her!
You may be wondering what is an online wedding shower and how does it work?!
Because there are so many of us that would love to gather together, but the miles separate most of us, I had to think of something out of the box! Thanks to the wonders of technology, we have an opportunity to "shower" Lovelle before her big day even if we can't gather together in person. The plan is this, during the week of November 1st through the 8th we will celebrate together here. Why a week? This way everyone will have a chance to stop by, regardless of your schedule! :)
The great news, you can come as you are, even in your PJ's if you'd like! The bad news? No ACTUAL chocolate or cupcakes to share and enjoy. :( Instead I will be sharing some wonderful virtual recipes here and will be asking that you do the same!!
In addition there will be a page where you can leave some love for the happy couple, maybe some marriage advice, or tips for keeping the romance alive! ;)
I have included a page with links to the places that Lovelle and David have registered. If you feel so inclined to buy and send a gift their way, please do, but even more than that I want to shower them with words of affirmation. This is our opportunity to come together as a community and love on a beautiful couple. A couple that is walking in God's plan for their life. What a gift that is in itself!
Thrilled to shower Lovelle and David with love and celebrate what God is doing!! The miles that separate don't seem so far when we can gather in such a fun way. Thank you, Kristin! And what a gorgeous site, Lisa!
